About Merion2017-11-09T13:55:00+00:00
All-white athletic attire is a tradition at The Merion Cricket Club, The Cynwyd Club, Germantown Cricket Club and Philadelphia Cricket Club. This includes warm-ups and accessories such as hats, wristbands, headbands, sweaters and socks. Athletic shoes must be predominantly white. All logos must be small and discreet. This rule will be strictly enforced over the weekend.
Eye protection is required at all times for both singles and doubles play.
Cell phone use is prohibited anywhere within the club and grounds. Calls may only be made from the parking lot.
Smoking is not permitted anywhere on club property.
For your convenience, we will be issuing players identification and temporary club account numbers linked to their credit cards. Members of local clubs with signing privileges will use their club numbers. These account numbers can be used at The Merion Cricket Club over the course of the weekend, allowing participants to sign for incidentals and clothing at the Pro Shop and food and beverage service at The Cricket Room, Courtside Cafe or any signature bar. It is strongly recommended that you wear your player identification or have it with you throughout the weekend.
Locker rooms are available for participant use. Towels and day lockers are available. Please note that while the Men’s Locker Room is under construction, locker room facilities are available in The Cottage. BE ADVISED THAT THE FACILITIES ARE LIMITED. WE ENCOURAGE PLAYERS, WHEN POSSIBLE, TO USE THE LOCKER ROOMS AT PARTICIPATING CLUBS.

Players are welcome to use Merion Cricket’s Fitness Center to warm up before matches and stretch out. Your tournament identification badge is required for access to the Fitness Center.

Players and guests are welcome at Merion Cricket’s food and beverage venues. Purchases may be made using the temporary account number issued at registration or local reciprocal club numbers.

The Pro Shop is open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. weekends. Purchases may be made using the temporary account number issued at registration or local reciprocal club numbers.

The tournament desk phone number is 610-642-5800, extension 263. Please use this number to communicate with event staff throughout the weekend.
